With September behind us and the successful release of 17.0.2, I'd like to review our recent accomplishments and outline our upcoming tasks. The 17.0.0 and 17.0.2 releases have been very successful. We introduced our newly redesigned wallet, improved app speed, and added several new features, including the Marketing feature, which saw over a third of eligible users participate in the first campaign. In 17.0.2, we also introduced the ability to set tokens or features into maintenance mode, a valuable tool for managing downtime and reducing support needs. Additionally, we've enhanced our DEX system, allowing us to switch providers quickly during unforeseen events. We've also expanded the range of displayed currencies in the wallet, providing a more familiar experience for users whose primary currency is not the Euro. Overall, September was a productive month, setting the stage for more achievements in October. In the coming months, we'll continue improving the app, with additional enhancements and fixes, new EVM chains, and features like Price Alerts and Contacts. Regarding compliance, while we continue to await the long-anticipated debit cards, we are making steady progress in other areas. Last week, we successfully completed a comprehensive and holistic government audit, reinforcing our commitment to maintaining our good standing as a regulated business. Additionally, we concluded a technical penetration test conducted by a certified third party, which revealed no critical issues. Our long-standing commitment to compliance is proving beneficial, particularly in the context of MiCA, where we are making significant progress as well. Stay tuned! Hey Everyone, As you know, features are rolling out quickly. Both CRY, and PlutusSwap (EEA Limited-Beta) are just the beginning of the key items on our roadmap. The rest of the year is packed with more utilities like PlutusGift. Regarding PlutusSwap fees, Danial addressed this in the last AMA and meetup, explaining the backend flow and the third-party fees involved due to regulatory requirements (Plutus can not fund card top-ups itself). Currently, fees are higher due to speculative activity from non-productive users, causing volatility. However, as new features roll out and updated terms take effect, in-app productivity will rise, and their fees are expected to decrease. Furthermore, the current version is designed primarily for our broader audience, especially Web2 users, which is crucial for scaling. A more rewarding DEX for our Web3 customers will be launched next year. If anyone is unhappy with earning lucrative rewards and instantly swapping them for card top-ups—a one-of-a-kind feature—and chooses to be unproductive and complain on social media instead of having an honest conversation in our channels, feel free to reach out. The hardfork on the testnet has been completed, and after confirming network stability, the Aergo V4 hardfork will proceed with the release of version 2.6.0. The stability check is expected to be completed within 1-2 weeks. The key feature of this hard fork is the addition of the composable transaction functionality. Along with this, several bug fixes and vulnerability improvements in the Lua engine, as well as hundreds of code commits, required more extensive testing than initially anticipated. Furthermore, thorough testing with enterprise nodes delayed the hardfork beyond the originally announced timeframe. We apologize once again for the delay.
