🚨 Update on Platform Security 🚨 We would like to address recent challenges Farcanians may be experiencing on the Farcana platform. The past week has been particularly difficult for us, as we have encountered phishing attempts, DDoS attacks, and other malicious efforts targeting Farcana. These incidents prompted a shift in our short-term priorities towards enhancing data security and user privacy. Unfortunately, this has impacted our development resources, affecting features like withdrawals and displaying inaccurate UI balances. Here's a detailed report on the recent actions our team has taken to protect user data and prevent Farcanians engagement with impersonating accounts: 🔒 Within the last few days, our team: - Detected and neutralized 142 cases of impersonation attempts, where unauthorized users tried to mimic legitimate accounts. - Withstood a series of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks. The graph illustrates a sample of those attacks within one day. - Identified and removed approximately 3,200 fake accounts designed to spread misinformation or engage in fraudulent activities. - Intercepted over 400 phishing attempts targeted at our users, aiming to steal personal information. - Engaged a team of cybersecurity experts to continuously monitor and defend against emerging threats. - Invested in regular security training and awareness programs for all staff members. ⚠️ We want to assure you that our team is working diligently to resolve these issues and enhance our platform's security.
