The Avalanche Foundation is launching the Avaissance initiative to grow the AVAX NFT ecosystem and support its budding artists. The program aims to usher in a rebirth of creative activity on Avalanche.
Here are the program highlights👇
1️⃣ 50+ artists will be selected to participate in the 6 month Artist in Residence program with support from Avalanche and selected professional mentors.
2️⃣ Mentors initially include Emmy-winning artist Emonee LaRussa, photographer and founder of ALLSHIPS Dave Krugman, and Ryan Wen from popular NFT project Valhalla.
3️⃣ Through the Mona Lisa initiative, the Avalanche Foundation has created a fund to purchase NFTs from the ecosystem to be given to Art DAOs, and some for the Avalanche Permanent Collection.
